17th July 2017 at CJCC – 30th Anniversary Erasmus Programme On behalf of HE Sieng Emtotim, Rector of University of Battambang, Dr. Chea Ratha, Head of International Relations Office, was invited to be panelist on the celebration of 30th Anniversary Erasmus Programme presided over by HE Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Ministry Education, Youth and Sport of Cambodia. The panel discussion was focused on how Cambodia’s HEI benefits from Erasmus+ Programme, Dr. Chea has shared some key benefits in terms capacity building of Cambodian lecturers, researchers and students at Bachelor, Master and PhD levels under the framework of credit mobility exchanges and multiple training of trainers (ToT) during the implementation of the project. Besides, the development of new curricula to meet the need of market, the purchase of advanced laboratory equipment for research and the use of ICT techniques in the developed curricula could be the key inputs from Erasmus+ Programme as well. For instant, UBB has been granted for 5 Erasmus+ Projects (CONSEA, DOCKSIDE, TACTIC, UNICAM, SIMPLE) working on the development of new curricula and strengthening local capacity of UBB staffs.
