On Saturday, November 10, the year of Samdech Akka Moha Thamma Pagoda, On November 17, 2018, the Faculty of Social Science and Community Development of Battambang University organized a seminar on “Local Economic Development: Challenges, Opportunities and Future Direction”. The main purpose of this workshop is to discuss and share knowledge experiences to promote and promote local economic development especially in Battambang. And the main agenda at this workshop is:
Section 1: Basic economic development
• Part 2: Sustainable Development Goals: Transforming Global Goals into a Business Concept for Basic Economic Development
• Section 3: Local Governance and Development (Case Study: Battambang)
• Section 4: The role of agribusinesses in promoting economic development and reducing poverty: challenges, opportunities, and future direction.
In addition, the workshop was attended by Mr. Bin Chum, Rector of Battambang University, Dr. Seng Rotha, Dean of Faculty of Social Science and Community Development and attended by key guest speakers. From national and sub-national institutions, non-governmental organizations, private companies.
Faculty of Social Sciences and Community Development would like to express our profound thanks to all eight distinguished speakers for spending valuable time in transferring valuable knowledge and experiences to students at the College of Social Sciences and Community Development of Battambang University.
